Art is the expression . . . the communication emanating from the artist's soul.

Graphic design is the art of visually communicating the soul
of an entity, organization or company.

Marketing is listening to the observer and nurturing a relationship based on what is heard.

Website Design

Built an entirely new website for Revolution, an eclectic clothier of fine used and new pieces from New England designers. The shop is located in White River Junction, Vermont.

Created an animated logo, digitized existing brand artwork, and worked hand-in-hand with the client to design and develop all aspects of the website.

Designed the Black Hawk Singers' logo and website, collaborating with my partner in charge of web development to create a web presence for this Abenaki drumming and singing group.

Both the logo and website design honored the belief in the circular/drum being the spiritual center but breaking from traditional/expected Native American iconography and art.

Kanji and Japanese calligraphy were studied to deliver the client's vision for a logo. Once the logo was finalized, my web-development partner and I collaborated on the website design to ensure the branding was continuous.

The client had several disparate identities under different blogs. We partnered with her to conceptualize joining all of them under one identity and one website assisted her with merging articles and contact lists and created functionality that supported her email marketing efforts.

Collaborated with LaBarge Accounting to create a new logo, business card, letterhead, and website that stood out among accounting firm websites.

The client wanted to stay with greens and blues and incorporate her favorite tree, the weeping willow, into the imagery. She also wanted to be able to change and add elements to the website, so we provided basic training to get her rolling.

Built a custom, one-page website and worked with the client to create a logo, t-shirt, mini-menu (full menu on a Z-folding business card size takeaway), and promo video.

The client was looking to create a brand reflective of the store's personality and customer base. Challenges included being able to represent the breadth of gifts, coffees, beers, wines, and deli selections offered. Also, he didn't feel he needed a full WordPress website because he wouldn't have the time nor inclination to update the website on a regular basis.
